Netnography: Not Just for Marketers

Ethnography applied to online behavior isn’t just for marketing, it works for education too. But can Netnography be applied to Learning Analytics techniques? How much quantitative interpretive inquiry can be used in ethnography? Can you use grounded theory in ethnography? Can Learning Analytics approach the same level of fidelity in understanding the meaning of human relationships as ethnography?
